Where is my data stored?

All data stays in your browser's local storage. Nothing is sent to our servers unless you're a Pro user with cloud backup enabled. You can export and import your data at any time from the Pro Account page.

How does the VAT auto-detection work?

When you enter your VAT number in the invoice form, we detect the country code (e.g., BE for Belgium) and automatically set the correct standard VAT rate. You can always override it manually.

What is reverse charge and when should I use it?

Reverse charge shifts the VAT obligation from the seller to the buyer. Use it when invoicing a VAT-registered business in another EU country. The invoice must include both VAT numbers and a reverse charge notice.

How do I export my invoice history?

Go to Invoice History (Pro feature), click 'Export CSV' for a spreadsheet, or 'Export VAT PDF' for a formatted quarterly VAT summary you can share with your accountant.
